we collect the minimum we need to run the event, we don't sell it, and you can make us delete it. details below.
01 — what we collect
when you sign up for an event: your name, email, phone number and age, plus which event you signed up for, your language, and whether you ticked the marketing box. that's it. analytics on the site are collected via PostHog (EU servers) to understand how the site is used.
02 — why we collect it
name + email: to confirm your spot and send you event info (confirmation + reminders — those are part of the service you asked for). phone: so we can share the WhatsApp group and reach you about the event. age: events are 18+. marketing emails about future events are sent only if you opted in.
03 — where it lives
signups are stored in a Supabase database hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). emails are sent through Resend. a copy of the signup list is mirrored to a private Google Sheet that only the organizing team can access. analytics live in PostHog's EU cloud.
04 — marketing & unsubscribe
if you opted in, we'll occasionally email you about future AFTER events. every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. unsubscribing doesn't affect event-related emails for events you signed up to.
05 — how long we keep it
event signups are kept for up to 12 months after the event, then deleted. marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you.
06 — your rights
GDPR applies: you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
